Remember the days of Domino? OK, think back a little further, how about Blueprint? I was entirely in love with both of these magazines. I had a Domino subscription for a long time, and I searched the magazine aisles for each new Blueprint. They had such great tips, and mostly, great photos. It was so relaxing to sit back with a new magazine and just marvel at the beautiful rooms, fashion advice, and other lifestyle tidbits. Then it all came crashing down. Martha Steward folded Blueprint, and Condé Nast pulled Domino from circulation, all within about a year of each other.
But, I have good news. There is a new piece to fill the void. It's Lonny Magazine! Check it out (right now...do it!) It's an e-magazine (no printing=helping the environment,) and it has everything from home design to fashion finds, arts and a plethora of gooooorgeous photos. I'm so thankful to the editors who got this off the ground, and can't wait to see what they come out with. I know I will be relying on this for finds and ideas to make my humble abode even more lovely. I love the drink carst on pages 87 and 111. How perfect would that be for entertaining?!
Have fun looking. I promise it's worth the time. And while you're at it, don't miss page 171. That airy antique look is beautifully chic.
Oh, and here are some pics of the Mr. and I at the fair this weekend. It was all you can expect from a state fair...tacky, calorie-loaded, and all sorts of fun.

Ah I have not been to the fair since middle school. I need to do that next year!! And an E-magazine! That's just awesome. Although I still love the idea of getting comfy on the couch and reading through a good magazine..an e-magazine is not so expensive! Thanks for sharing!
